Any further update on this, J O'B, please? It does seem less and less likely with time passing that this will be coming out on the date originally suggested. Like others I hope that Bryan has not had second thoughts about releasing early versions of songs and allowing a fascinating glimpse into how he puts his masterpieces together.

Can't say I understand some of the anxiety over this. The album is clearly at an advanced stage given the images we've seen and surely this is a relatively low key release anyway, compared to a brand new album? There's still over 6 eeks to go between now and the suggested release date....

Wouldn’t say I’m anxious or anything but just find it strange that it hasn’t been announced yet. Six weeks tomorrow until the release date that was advertised on the original leak.
I know that it’s not a major release compared to a new album so won’t have much promotion but you would expect some sort of YouTube drops and social media activity in the run up to release.

Recently I’ve enjoyed listening to The High Road, a Roxy Music EP from 1983, with -what occurred to me - has 3 cover versions on it.
And fabulous playing to boot.

As many of you have suggested, HMV in fact did put the information on too early.

The deluxe edition of Mamouna will definitely be coming out later in the year.

The official HMV eBay account have re listed the vinyl and CD box set with a new date of 13th October.

Obviously they jumped the gun and were wrong before so I wouldn’t take that date as gospel however it does make more sense rather than the unrealistic date of this month.

I’ve also noticed Amazon have a few of the MP3 tracks with the new artwork up - although they’re not available to buy/listen to yet.

Emails received from HMV's online store today to say that the release date of both versions has been changed... to TBC (presumably To Be Confirmed)!
