Ferry has covered many artists - Elvis, the Beatles, the Byrds, the Stones, the Beach Boys, Dylan , Neil Young, and numerous soul standards.
But never Bowie. Too close , perhaps .

It would indeed be interesting and, after all, the reverse has happened, so it only seems fair.

Mes Amis, Interesting that avalon_eyes mentions Bowie in connection with our heroes ‘Ready Mades’ . Ironically,Ferry had recorded ‘These Foolish Things’ weeks before Bowie began work on ‘Pin Ups’ and was annoyed at the perceived copying of his project. According to Christopher Sandford (biographer) he allegedly went to Island records to request they file an injunction to prevent ‘Pin Ups’ being released before ‘These Foolish Things’. Instead O’Leary (Bowie’s biographer) writes that Bowie phoned Ferry and asked permission to record a Roxy song (Ladytron). Wether he recorded it or not appears to be unkown Both albums were released as planned and charted on the same day, 3rd November 1973. Personally, W2 always found Ferry’s choice of songs to interpret invariably diverse but spot on albeit it’s a little sad that he hasn’t, as yet, got round to Cohen. Salutations a tous, Windswept.

Elegantly Ageing Hipsters, As a postscript, W2 would like to re-raise the idea of a ‘Ready Mades’ tour. Windswept thinks the idea sublime. Are there any learned Roxologists out there who would support this idea ? W2 is hard at work on a set list. Salutations, Windswept.

Any opportunity to see BF again (one last time?) would be so welcome.
I've long thought the solo setlists were too weighted in favour of Roxy (after all, only very rarely indeed have Roxy performed any BF solo material). Of course Roxy playing together has always been special, but to hear their music (albeit a very narrow selection) so often under the 'BF live' banner, arguably diminishes that impact. So yes, I've always looked forward to a 100% solo set list. Apart from anything else, there's so much more to draw upon.
I guess the only question then - as far as this thread is concerned - is whether it's all 'ready mades', whether BF solo originals are allowed and whether a few curve-balls that BF hasn't recorded are permissable? I think a fairly even distribution of all three would provide a memorable conclusion to BF's touring career.
