I came across a TDK cassette I recorded off the radio , must be back in 1981 , of a Radio One broadcast with Ferry discussing a selection of favourite records - starting with Roadrunnner and ending with Ruby Tuesday. It includes 96 tears, Don’t be Cruel and Will you still love me tomorrow? , all of which he would cover. I can’t play the tape as I don’t have a deck. Nonetheless, I thought it may be of interest in this month of Ferry nostalgia. |

Can you send your address in a DM,, John , and I’ll happily post it. It’s a pure coincidence that the programme was titled ‘Star Special.’ And of course, Ferry has not covered “ 96 Tears”, has he? It was “Woolly Bully” I was thinking of, which he did in encores. |
