Loose Talk is #55 in the Midweek UK Album Chart. I take it that any pre-orders are included, and not to expect significant sales for the remainder of the week, so likely to drop down the chart? |

I suspect it might be like ' Mamouna/ Horoscope' which entered at 34 in the mid-week chart and disappeared from the next Friday's chart.I also see Amazon won't have more stock of ' Loose Talk' until the 11th so it may drop heavily as well. Still a great album though! |

Physical sales chart 19. Album sales chart 20. Vinyl albums chart 21. Record Store chart 7. Top 100 albums - The top 100 overall chart is so skewed by downloads and streaming that artists like BF, whose core audience buys physical products, will rarely make much of a dent in it these days. The figures above prove the point pretty conclusively. |

There are participants in this forum who recognize and hear incredible things in the Loose Talk album, and who attempt to express artistic creativity where my limited imagination fails. If I look at the album's sales figures, this Ferry album isn't even among the top 100 in Germany. Never before has a Ferry album received so little attention in Germany. The Rolling Stones held the Pool position for 28 weeks in 2023 with their album Hackney Diamonds. It's possible, even when you've gotten older. |
