I went to Kew.org to check out what kind of venue BF was to play at Kew Gardens and the website indicates that on July 9th the "Bootleg Beatles"are schedule to play. I searched for Bryan Ferry and nothing turned up. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place...

Bootleg Beatles were there on 9th July 2010, their site is not updated yet with this year's event on 9th July.

What's this festival like?
Good view? Busy? Good sound and vision quality?

I have never been to a show there but my guess is that is a sort of "picnic on the grass" type crowd and those people expect to sit on their picnic blankets during the show!

Haven't been to a gig there, but I'm told this description is fairly accurate (similar to gigs I've attended - including one by BF - at Kenwood House in Hampstead, London).

BTW, tickets went on advanced sale this morning (general sale from 7th March); J.O'B posted a link on the VRM home page on 3rd Feb.

Tickets are £37.50 unreserved or £46 reserved (plus £2.50 booking fee per application, rather than per ticket; I think you can buy up to 6 tickets); the latter allow you to turn up later* and still access an area closer to the stage (mind you, I think I read that admission only starts at 6 p.m. for a 7.30 gig, although I guess that's when Ms Bextor assaults our ears! )
