I was at Kew Gardens and thought it was one of the best gigs. Bryan had great energy and the music sounded great.

Unfortunately I couldn't see Tara from where I was standing, but had the pleasure of meeting him on the Roxy Tour. I personally don't think Bryan woudl have asked Tara to play if he didn't think he would be adding anything. Bryan is a perfectionist with his music and I would trust his judgement.

I think there is no need for some of the things that have been said about Tara and I personally would like to see him have a great career in music. I hope to see him play live in his own band at some point - I don't know if you have any dates booked anywhere yet Tara??

Anyway, I do have to say (as a short a*se) that the one thing that annoyed me was the cameras filming in front of the stage. I realise they are filming for the screen at the back, which is very effective and everything, but the camera men just get in the way - and at Kew there were times I couldn't see Bryan at all cos one of them was right in the way! Is there not a non-invasive way this could be done?

Anyway - kudos to Bryan and his musicians for a fantastic gig at Kew! Looking forward to Edinburgh! :)

Tara, I think it's cool there are 2 drummers.
I assume your father is an extreme control freak in the object that he wants everything right-perfect, otherwise he won't do it.
And I'm sure most of the people on here know that Bryan Ferry is a perfectionist. Maybe they haven't thought about that?

If you wouldn't be good, you wouldn't be there.

There will always be people who criticise you no matter what you do, I think you're doing great.

I'm a younger fan (I'm 29), so I really love the fact there are many musicians on stage. Also Ollie is absolutely stunning, I had the pleasure of shortly meeting him in 2007 before the concert in the Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp. An very nice guy, very talented. At that time I was starting to play electric guitar too, I looked up at him...wow. (sadly can't play anymore , health stuff) But I still look at his solo's and playing with awe :ugeek: )
I hope RKG will really be hot someday. Been listening to the tracks and they sound really nice.

Would have loved to go to Bruges and witness a show, but in 2007 I got hearing damage after the Ferry concert at the Lokerse Feesten. But I've seen some stuff on youtube and heard some live tracks and they are really good. (now where's that live album?) Just read the good news about a live dvd. This might slightly make up for being unable to attend any concerts due to the damaged ears.... 8-)

You're cool onstage, go a great drum set with the Kate pic. I saw you wearing a couple of shirts from the merchandise, very nice. It suits you. A bit a of pity there aren't enough ladies models...(HINT HINT  )
You also seem very focussed. Maybe some people think that is an uninterested look. Never mind. You know what you' doing.

Keep doing what you do, you're doing great! 8-)

Wasn't quite sure if I was allowed to post pics here. Some forums don't like a lot of pics, but I thought people might like these?

Great pics! I have to say I am HUGELY disappointed that there will be no Boston stop on the US tour in October. I check each day with baited breath....

Eero, if you are putting off buying tickets elsewhere in the hope that he will play Boston, I would advise to look at going to NYC or some other USA date if you want to see Ferry.

I'll just have to forego the pleasure this time, the cost of travel putting the New York shows outside my budget.

Until the Ontario date filled in, I was hopeful we would get a date in New England, alas, it looks like it would be a great time!
