Oh, dear; another careless journalist leads fans to expect Phil, Andy & TGPT on this tour...

I can imagine just how pleased the three of them would be to hear themselves described as part of BF's touring band! :o

Hey Smudge,

Then you got the job to inform the person who wrote it that they got it wrong.

Let me know how it went.

Thanks,

E

Well, Erland, I don't know if your suggestion was serious, but I don't like to shirk a challenge! :)

I've sent a Talkback comment to the publication (whether they'll print it is another matter...) and an e-mail to the author of the article, clarifying that the touring band does not include Phil, Andy or TGPT. Indeed, Phil & Andy's involvement in Olympia as an album was fairly peripheral, while Paul does not play on it at all.

Whether any clarification will be printed, I somehow doubt. ;)

Thanks Smudge! Good for you! I'll check the site later to see if they respond. Indeed, alot of writers these days are getting it wrong. Someone at Bryan site should hire someone like you to alert them!

Thanks again!

E

Apologies to all if this has started to look like a private correspondence between Erland and myself!

Well, my Talkback comment was published in the Jerusalem Post (some might consider that very appropriate for a Tottenham season ticket holder!), while the article's author sent me the response below to my e-mail (all down to promoters, it seems...):

thanks for the information Gary,
the promoter here provided us with erroneous info evidently,
will update it,
best,
David
