There is a bootleg from the Aston Villa show October 1994. It is a proper silver pressed CD and is the entire show.

There was a BBC radio broadcast of 10 of the 18 songs performed at Wolverhampton Civic February 1995.

There are at least 20 shows in circulation from the Mamouna tour.

Another one worth having is the Westwood One radio broadcast from 1994-12-08, Los Angeles, CA. Only seven tracks, but spectacular quality. Plus, it includes "Your Painted Smile".

I have a DVD-R of the Argentinian show that The 39 Steps on YouTube was recorded at. It is about 50 minutes long and has some interview materiel in between some songs.

I know that show is out there among the CD-DVD swapping fraternity so you may find someone who has copying facilities to make one.

OMG really J.O'B :D

Been trying to track down a Mamouma concert for years!!! Was begining to think it didn't exist.

Really hope there is someone on here that can or knows of someone that can copy one for me as I have loads of other concerts copied onto Dvd but this has been tricky to find!

Ps. Was the Manouma tour the one where he wore a bright red coat?

There are a load of audio recordings from that tour. Wolverhampton and Los Angeles were both radio broadcasts as far as I know and are great quality recordings. Argentina 95 is the only DVD I know of from the Mamouna tour. Does anyone know if there are any others around ?

I've always liked mamouna except for a few years in the noughties, when it suffered from having been played too much.

It's so wonderfully dark. Not as good as alphaville, mind, but still good. and which way to turn and wildcat days are two of my favourites :)

Hipsters,
Fabulous to read all the positive remarks about Mamouna.
It demands to be listened to in it's entirety which I did last week and for the zillionth time, I was simply blown away.
For me, it's Ferry's Sgt.Pepper. There isn't a bad track on it and the whole thing is just so synergistic and textured. It transports you to Ferryland in fine style and is completely intoxicating.
I love it to bits. We are so lucky to have this guy. He's a national treasure!
Regards,
Windswept.
