I have seen many many Roxy and Ferry-Concerts. The one in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) was great one, as far as I'm concerned (I have no doubt long-year Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry Fans will tell the same). It was a very good show, with extremely talented and gifted musicians. It could even have been fantastic ... if there had been an intelligent more intelligent crowd. They just don't estimate the uniqueness and magic of Bryan Ferry. The crowd was lush, boring and very quiet. It was obvious that Bryan ad much fun at the beginning. He liked the place the ambience, the old houses around the place. - But in the end most of the visitors spoilt it. But that's NOT THE FIRST TIME IN SWITZERLAND! Cold blooded or unintelligent or both? Yeah, I guess so. (Montreux was great - an exception!) I have often asked myself, how long Bryan is waiting to sweep the concerts here. There are beeing less and less concerts played by Ferry here in Switzerland. Thank you swiss audiences for that. A shame for the real fans. It hurts! Sorry Bryan! OH YEAH - Adrian |
