Ian, Thanks for posting these tracks. The quality of these morsels from the Horoscope sessions are well worth a listen and although I can understand why they didn't make it onto Mamouna, they serve as a a great insight into the standards he sets. I particularly liked the intro on "Blinded By The Life I'm Living", it's very haunting - a great sound scape and I loved the horn and guitar mix - it's fabulous. I find the whole Horoscope/Mamouna debate very interesting. A lot is said about the money and effort that was invested into this project yet it would appear that the end product - Mamouna - is not always appreciated.Personally, I find this a little bizarre. I adore this album and play it every couple of weeks always in the same way. Late at night, with the cans on and a large Talisker in hand (a few years ago it might have been something else). I listen to it from start to finish and drift off to Ferryland. Marvellous! Regards, Windswept
