hey folks! since i will come the long way from germany to the edinburgh concert at the beginning of september, i just wanna ask who of you guys is going there as well. any chance to have a few pints in a pub nearby few hours before the concert? in order to get in the right mood...  suggestions? steffen |

Edinburgh is my (relatively speaking) local show (I am 2 and a half hours north) but 2011 has been my 'annus horribilus' on the job front. 28 years without ever being out of work then this year I had 3 months off (Dec, Jan, Feb) and as of this week I am unemployed again so Ferry gigs have to take a back seat for me for a while. Good news on the job front, as I was offered not one but 2 jobs today to start on Monday. I will be at the Edinburgh show after all. J.O'B. |

great news john! so anyone else going there as well and wanting to have a drink before? my tickets have not arrived yet... all ticketmaster told me was "they are due to be send" and "if your tickets don´t arrive the day before you leave germany call us again". rubbish. |

Hi all! Good news about your job John and great that you can go to the concert! I am also going and arrive from the Netherlands during the day. I've read that the gates are open at 18.45 and show starts at 19.30 - that's the support act I guess? At what time will Bryan start? I've read that there could be problems with entering the esplanade in time. Are some of you planning to meet each other somewhere (pub?) before or after the gig? It will be nice to meet other fans! Does anybody know if there will be a (Olympia) signing session somewhere on someday? I bring my raincoat with me, but rain or rain, it will be a great evening!
