What form will Ferry's next album take- all covers, Ferry originals or some of both. Who will be playing on it apart from Marcus Miller, Nile Rodgers and David Williams, I'd hazard a guess at Andy Newmark on drums and a few of the more expensive anglo American session players of the eighties

This was maybe not meant to be taken seriously, but someone at Paul`s once said there will be "some Dylanesque leftovers with some Roxy covers to go".

-Anyone?

I hope it's up too the standard of the studio track that was featured on YouTube some time back. It had a bluesy rockin' coda that reminded me of 'Simple Twist of Fate'. Bryan clapped and yelped afterwards.

There are some dylanesque leftovers in the can, whether he'll use them just yet or if this is an exercise to get some of the alphaville, horoscope and some which have been left "facing the wall" (as Ferry would put it) finished, remade to clear the decks would be a possibility I reckon. It would be interesting to know exactly how much material he has stored up.

I would personally love to hear him do Scott Walker covers.

My favourite albums are "Mamouna", "Frantic" and "In your mind".
Mostly his own signature.

Has anyone listened to U can dance? I was so disappointed with it. A really boring tune with some unmelodic half spoken words by BF. Hope that's not typical of the new album.

Also.........he does seem to be contradicting himself about the Roxy album. On that Roxy Story thing he's saying how great it would be!

Ferry's voice is just shot. I don't think the ol boy has it in him to complete an album, embark on a tour, etc. And isn't it obvious.....Roxy is a thing of the past....sad but oh so true!!!!
