Off to collect his gong from H&M, sorry from HM Queen.

Congratulations, and at least Brucie won't be hogging the limelight.

PS Why are so many adverse to the H&M ads?

The conversation can be imagined:

HMTQ: And what is it that you do exactly?
BF: I sing with Roxy Music, your majesty.
HMTQ: Ah yes, that celebrated art-rock combo from the 70s and early 80s. Isn't it time that you put your differences aside and finished that ninth studio album? Or it's the Tower of London for you, young man!

Absolutely not ! There must never be another Roxy album ! There's no point now,and they would ruin their great legacy.

There`s no point now? Do you mean it`s too late? Besides, their legacy is a mixed bag...

Message from Yanick Etienne on Facebook for the great man.‎

"Give and take"... I'm so proud of the man who put my name on the international charts with my solo performance on the hit single "Avalon". Congratulations Bryan Ferry.

In the the Palace group photo BF and Otis appear upscale and stylish. The other three look like Droogs-in-training stuffed into dark suits. But Papa is obvously very proud!

I wonder if Otis had any trouble getting past Palace Security given his assault on Parliament a few years back. I can't believe that Otis didn't get "red-flagged" when BF submitted his guest list for the CBE ceremony. Once you get into security databases as a troublemaker it can be hard/impossible to get out...
