TGPT recently posted on his site that he is scheduled to play four upcoming gigs with BF. He also indicates that he won't be participating in other "corporate" gigs (where BF does not perform with a full band). I interpret this to mean that TGPT will be doing the two gigs in Iceland along with the Norwegian festival in June and the British Guilford festival in July. And the Belfast/Titanic gig will presumably not be with BF's full band.

Presumably BF won't be playing any other non-corporate gigs this summer, but I guess that can easily change if he wants it to...

I'm sure there is a reason for swapping band personnel around but I can't think of one. Why isn't Paul in the "corporate" band ? Can you explain this John?

I think it's because the corporate band is usually playing to a backing track so the full band isn't needed and is usually Olly Thompson, Jorja Chalmers, Emily Dolan Davies (drums), backing singers and dancers, sometimes Colin Good and Jerry Meehan or whoever happens to be bass player at the time

I think the words I was looking for were cost effective
