Hi ya'll,
DJ played what I requested! He liked the remixes of Shameless & You Can Dance. Video of it coming to this link in Sunday night EDT.http://www.erland.tv/viva.html
"Hey Bryan! You've got to play the Montreal Jazz Festival: http://www.montrealjazzfest.com/default-en.aspx which is end of June / early July. It's a 10 day musical feast with all kinds of great music, with people from all over the world coming here. Too many to mention. Stevie Wonder is one. Doobie Bros. Steve Miller. Ella. Tony Bennett. Buddy Guy. Prince. Talk to your manager!" Grand Prix Festivities on Crescent Street in Montreal:
http://www.crescentmontreal.com/english_main.htmMontreal's Grand Prix has started. Fast cars, beautiful women,
and I can tell you, Montreal has both, plus style. Bryan's kind
of place.
Today I took a stroll down a street where I witnessed the
aforementioned. There was a nice, strong beat coming from a
booth where a DJ seemed available to talk to.
I strolled up and asked him if he had any Bryan Ferry. He said
he had an Shameless & You Can Dance (from the album) somewhere in his library of 15,000 songs.
Since it's Montreal and The Grand Prix, it's the about the beat.
People here love a beat. So I asked him if he had any remixes of the songs he had. He said no, but that he'd play Shameless or
You Can Dance. I didn't wait around to find out.
So tonight I thought, I'm going back there tomorrow and bring
him some remixes. There are people from around the world here and maybe some may get a reaction, a chain reaction that never stops, maybe some fans will take note and stick together.
Knowing me, I'll do it, so wish me luck that the DJ will spin them
'round.
