Those who weren't able to book for the Word In Your Ear event in central London (Tuesday 19th March) or the interview in Belfast (Sunday 12th May) will have another opportunity (although in London again) at the Ealing Book Festival on Sunday 14th April.

A great time was had by all attending a sold out Black Box in Belfast yesterday. Phil answered questions from the compere for about 2 hours. He played 'Magdalena' and 'Diamond Head' ( the name of a mountain in Hawaii that he could see from the beach where he would meet his mother when the family lived there).
Most of the discussion dealt with his childhood in Cuba,Hawaii and his return to London. Then the early days of Roxy and how he replaced David O' List. Time ran out before we got beyond the 2001 reunion.
Afterwards,at the book signing he expressed how much he enjoyed his time in Belfast and would tell Andy MacKay about it.
During his interview he said both Bryan and Andy should produce their own autobiographies.
Phil Manzanera ...a real gentleman.
