Phil has intimated on his Facebook page that he intends to do live shows later this year and looking for suggestions for a set list from his solo work.

I'm not on Facebook, John, so maybe you could suggest on my behalf that he plays one set covering songs from various albums and another set playing Diamond Head from start to finish?

That's unless he can convince Eno that a 801 reunion gig or tour would make a lot of middle-aged Roxy fans deliriously happy! ;)

Great news about Phil's date near Liverpool.

But have you any idea as to the likely location of other concerts, if indeed there is to be a "tour"? Ideally I don't want to invest in a 300 mile round trip if there are to be other gigs further north!

The Liverpool date is the only date I know of so far and I don't have any more info that what Phil intimated on his facebook page a few weeks ago. I have booked a ticket for this show. I saw Phil at Ronnie Scott's 2 years ago and it was a great experience as Dave Gilmour joined him the second night and I had Phil and Dave playing so close to me I could readthe serial number on ther guitar.

When you are a Highlander like me, 400 (Glasgow) -1200 mile round trips (London) and in between for Roxy dates are a regular for me. Unfrtunatley they never play this far north.

I've got my ticket. Roxyrama are making a band outing to Liverpool as we're all really excited at this opportunity to see the great man in action.

Still hoping that Phil will soon announce some gigs further south; I like Liverpool as a city, but can't imagine there's a whole lot else going on in New Brighton (about 25 mins out in The Wirral by Merseyrail, I think?) where this gig is. Maybe I'll have a weekend tour of Merseyside and catch up with friends in Southport too...

Got my ticket. Still loads available by the look of it.

I hope for plenty from the superb albums 6PM and 50 Minutes Later, a smattering from Diamond Head and some prog from Mainstream and Firebird V11. "Amazona" and "Whirlwind" wouldn't go amiss as well!

I'd go with what CPL 593H suggested.

I saw Manzanera a few years back at Mitchell & O'Brians restaurant in Soho (1989 ?) when Southern Cross/A Million Reasons Why came out. He did 2 sets. Set one was a load of solo stuff including Diamond Head, plus Love is the Dug and A Song For Europe.Set 2 was a load of Motown stuff. Something along those lines would do me !
