This may be far too short notice, even for his London based fans, but Andy will be making a guest appearance on stage at Shepherds Bush Empire tonight. The headliner is Japanese guitar hero Hotei Tomoyasu, with whom both Andy & Phil have guested in the past, I believe (I think Hotei also guested on stage with Roxy in Japan?). Hotei is apparently hugely famous in Japan, but chooses to live in semi-obscurity in west London. The gig is almost sold out. The venue website lists Andy as a support act, but I checked by phone yesterday and there is only a DJ as support; Andy is one of a "growing list" of guests (only Mark Edwards of Jesus Jones is also listed, however), although Phil is not expected. |

Excellent as the sax performance on "A Song For Europe" on BF's current tour is, I'm sure I'm not the only one who missed hearing the great man himself perform it one more time. Your public misses you, Andy! |
