Andy and Paul know what the Roxy Music time line is and wanted to have a project in the mean time.
The sad thing is how little effort it seems they are putting into it.
OK they have a Myspace page that hasn't been updated in a while.
The website has been updated to state they wanted to tour late this year, but it looks like next year. I signed up for the mailing list and have never got anything, even when the album was released on ITunes.
I was hoping that Tim and Hazel would be more "internet savvy" than the rest of the band, and be able to use it to get the world out about the band.
The fact that they have only done 5 concert doesn't help. It have been almost a year since their last one.
Their website say that they "have not found the right conditions tp put a tour together". I don't know, maybe they have too high expectations. They might have to play in less than right conditions to get their music out there for people to hear. If they have faith in their music, they would make the sacrifice. The dues they paid with Roxy Music, do not count for the new band.

I had high hopes for the metaphors thing (Even receiving the album packaging in Andy's hand writing), but it sort of just fizzled out, Phil got himself on Jools Hollands radio show to promote his album, Andy for some reason didn't (Later with Jools was on air at the time, I'm not sure how you get on that programme but Ferry always seem to).There seemed very little promotion for the album, live dates beyond the Roxy related forums. Some of it must be down to public profile, Ferry still seems to have some but Phil and Andy have very little outside of London.
