Dear friends of Roxy Music within these hallowed cyber halls,
today I went into a record store and bought myself two long awaited concert sets: Peter Gabriel live in London + Toto live in Poland. Both of them designed as 30 x 30 cm hard cover books containing 2 blu ray discs and 2 cd records, each one for about 35 €. Stunning quality of music and sound. 60 pages with perfect photographs and interesting informations about songs and musicians. A jewelry for die hard fans and quite a legacy of these rock legends.
Of course I am happy with my purchases, otherwise I wouldn't have spent so much money ... but how happy could I be if I there was something similar from Roxy Music - "For Your Pleasure" - live anywhere in the UK. Why do they withhold this last goodbye from all their loyal fans?
J.O'B. will read this and maybe he reacts. Perhaps members of the band will read my post, too. Of course, I don't know whether the years 2010 - 2012 will turn out to be the definitive end of Roxy Music as a band. But if so, it would be so sad not to have any document - preferably in the style of P. Gabriel or Toto. Come on, guys, do us this favor!
