A bit off our normal topic I know. Status Quo on BBC red button , nice to see Lucy Wilkins playing the violin. ( yep Quo with violins, it was an acoustic set, and was superb)

Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt noticeably enjoyed this gig with female voices, violins and a harmonica player. Not really a Roxy topic, I know - but Lucy Wilkins was fiddling on Friday, too

Certainly your breadth of musical appreciation knows no boundaries. Unfortunately, Windswept is more of a Philistine when it comes to Quo and personally, he'd rather hang himself from the highest tree with one of his best dark blue, silk knitted Charvet ties than listen to a three cord opera from these ne'er do wells. And he remains desperately worried about Lucy! a bien tôt, W

Cher roxologiste M. Windswept,
Thank you for your kind appreciation of my postings in this cyber hall - same here! Apart from our Quo discussion I know that we share an enthusiasm for Robert Palmer and The Kinks. Two outstanding examples of good rock music. And now let's concentrate on the really important things: Only 19 days (UK)/21 days (Germany) until we can hold a copy of 'Avonmore' in our hands.
Viva BF/RM!
