For all the revinylists out there it is a joy to own. Bowie really raised there bar on his final exit. What a mic drop. I would urge anyone who has the cd or download to go get it and enjoy the work in it's totality.
Cher AzArtist,
W2 envies you your life as a "revinylist" - he has become way too seduced by this digital stuff and is looking to find a way to join your club. Mrs W is the problem. If W2 proposes allocating more space to music he fears divorce might be imminent!
Regarding 'Black Star', you are so right. It is an absolute masterpiece and IWNSHO, his best ever album. It is truly a sophisticated piece of work that remains both accessible and exciting.
In such a great legacy that his last album is one of such high quality. It was the same for one of W2"s other musical heroes, Robert Palmer (RIP). His last album, 'Drive' was also one of his absolute best.
Their music will live forever.
Salutations,
Windswept
