Well that all turned out rather nicely!
Hell turned out to be tattooed Helen, who I introduced to VRM after spotting several of the Roxy cover girls in her full sleeve tattoo. And she'd moved barely a couple of miles up the road from me and suggested a meeting place directly opposite the office where I was doing a spot of very part-time work.
I fed her pin badge addiction and found her a BF t-shirt in which to look stylish and she gave me the poster (which I should have bought years ago, but never seriously missed until it was no longer available to buy...) in a frame almost identical to the ones used for my signed album covers.
The Koko gig holds special significance for me, partly because it was where I first met fine folk like J.O'B & Roxy and forged some lasting friendships.
The squeamish here will recoil at the news that Helen was on her way to have her stomach tattooed! Not Roxy themed this time, but hopefully BF will one day get to see the ones that his work inspired.
