The credit goes to BF@networld, who posted it on facebook about two hours ago.

There seems to be a bit of confusion concerning the start of the ticket sales. Team BF have just posted on facebook that the ticket sales will start on Friday, 21st of October, however myticket.de says the ticket sale will start already on the 19th.

Hi Stephen,

yes, the pricing is absolutely evil. I could have had the two best tickets in the room, front row middle, but when I saw they were 140€ each I deleted them from my cart and took some tickets in the fifth row.

P.S. everybody check your inbox for mail from bryanferry.com, the newsletter contains the links to the pre-sale.

Irrespective of the far too high price of the tickets in the front row: if Bryan is on tour again with his Avonmore program, he has already done it since Sept./ Oct. 2014. Roxy Music toured never for example with with Manifesto, Flesh and Blood, Avalaon etc. for several years. Hm, it seems like Bryan wants to make money again. Without me ... (When it is the same again ) .

It would be very nice to get more information about it (John !)

I know no more than what has been posted today. I was in Spain over the weekend on holiday and returned today to the announcement and this was the first I knew he was touring next year.

I would like to think that the Great Man is having a well deserved rest over the next few months, and that he will warm-up during this short European (?) tour, and get ready for a Roxy revival in Autumn 2017.
But it does look as though this European tour is just an extended re-make of the Avonmore model, and his team is expecting a considerable profitable return. I just could not part with €300+ yesterday, for 2 tickets and fees - and I have been too spoiled over the years, to watch Bryan from the back of the Hall! :-)
By comparison, a front row VIP ticket for Depeche Mode in Hannover is cheaper. OK it is standing room, I just noticed.
I am disappointed but remain loyal, and grateful that Bryan is so active.
Here's waiting for the special edition of the 1st Roxy Music album.
Roxy rule..

Yes, I can understand that, at first I, too, had the impulse to say "no, thanks!". But that didn't feel right, either. So I swallowed the pill and took the fifth row seats. Feels a bit like a degradation, though. But, seriously, if the only thing I have to worry about is that I'll have to watch the next Bryan Ferry concert from the fifth row instead of the front row, that means I still have a very good life 8-)

Btw I'm not worried about the programme at all. He is changing the set list all the time anyway, and he has such a huge back catalogue to choose from. And I'm sure he's going to come up with something new until then. Doesn't have to be a new album, just one or two previously unpublished songs.
