Now that June 16 is rapidly approaching, I don't suppose there is any sign of this being released?

I'd like to read some new information on RM Deluxe, too. Of course, the focus is on Bryan's world tour at the moment. But fans of the feather boa era like me are eagerly awaiting this package 8-) . Postponed until Christmas? Could you help, please, J.O'B.?

You would think that with Bryan currently on tour it would offer the opportunity to sell something new to those who are enjoying the shows.

The fact that neither this nor the promised RAH 1974 concert release have appeared yet is disappointing. The work has supposedly been done, so why not put it/them out?

All I can say about it is that I have proof read the artwork etc and so that would mean it is at an advanced stage.

All I can say in terms of content, sleeve notes, photographs, audio recordings, video recordings will be very interesting to the die hard fan with a lot of unseen/unheard material aimed at Roxy’s most avid followers.

In terms of a release date, I have had no conformation as yet.

J.O'B.

Thanks for your interim report, J.O'B.

Well, I am still looking forward to holding this deluxe package in my hands some day 8-) . Even if it tears a big hole in my pocket  .

I hear thee, pianoman. I'll be first in line for it, although I suspect it still isn't a high priority. Still, I'm sure/hope it'll be worth waiting for.

Hipsters,

It is certainly not an easy life being a 'Feather Boa' lover but at the risk of being sacrilegious, W2 would prefer the RAH DVD/LP release be treated as a priority.

Oh how he longs for those halcyon days .

Salutations,

W2

Loose translation from BF's latest (Spanish) interview:

"we've been working on a special edition of the first album, with a book and plenty of extra material, such as photographs, unreleased rehearsals, demos of the original tapes and the like. It's a very interesting presentation that will arrive later this year."

Sadly "later this year" sound all too ominous to the extent that I'm now not expecting to see this at all in 2017.

He's been, by and large, saying the same thing for a few years now. Phil Manzanera says something similar too. Obviously not high on the "to do" list.

Queen's 40th anniversary reissue package for the News of The World album is due in November. So maybe November is the month for boxed sets to be released to catch the Christmas market? We can but hope after such a long wait.
