Finally this package could be what we were hoping for - a festival for every fan of the early Roxy Music. @ Stephen Pep: Don't you think that 80 € are a little bit too optimistic ? Ok, it's a Japanese product and in SHM-quality but I am afraid it could cost 100 - 120 €. What do the others expect?

It's nice to have confirmation of an impending release of the long awaited "deluxe package" for the first album. But nonetheless it seems strange that the news comes via an ebay listing from Japan that is subsequently "ended" soon after the listing goes up. What?
I agree with pianoman that it will likely have a list price of about 100-120 €.

Also, it would be great if the dvd was region free (US dvd person here). Track listing for each disc, description of book, etc.

It is great news for sure and I do look forward to my early or 5 years late Xmas pressie. Excited ? Try to keep a straight face not easy. I guess like majority here I bought the vinyl,cd,thrill of it all cd box, remastered cd edition, the complete Roxy box set etc so I would hope that the price of the Delux issue, which is a product we have all been so desperate for its release, reflects our loyalty and is a sensible one. Having said that the choice has always been to buy or not to buy.No strike that, there is no choice you continue with the Roxy journey which began with this iconic release for many although FYP was my intro in early 73. Celebrate this ! Thank you Roxy Music and viva !

Roxy wrote: Graham's final live on stage performance with Roxy Music was at Bristol University show on the 3rd March 1972. From 14th - 29th March the Roxy Music album was recorded. Rik Kenton joined the band in early May when Graham Simpson left. Thanks for clearing that up - I slightly misread your post - long day lol

Renowned Roxologists,
Is Windswept alone in finding the launch of this project down on your knees, achingly, laugh out loud, tears rolling down your cheeks, gut bustingly funny ?
After all this time and much wringing of feather boas, the most loyal, discerning and patient fans in the world have been exposed to this most sort after of items via not a press release, not an e-mail, not from the music press, not from our hero's own website but from an e-bay advertisement placed by somebody in Japan wanting to make a couple of bucks !
This has to be the marketing equivalent of the new undisguised Ferrari being launched by an iPhone shot taken in a Tesco car park.
What would Andy Warhol have made of this ?
It's a long way from the day when every record store in the land had a fabulous window display on release day.
W2 knows that was a while ago but there must be a better way of doing things.
Salutations,
Windswept
