As to when and how they were recorded ? Who knows? But Windswept seriously doubts that they are out takes from the JazzAge sessions purely because there weren't any strings on the original offerings.

There were strings on 'The Jazz Age'. The album credits five string players and I can hear strings on at least 'Reason or Rhyme' and 'Just Like You'.

Hipsters,

Graham is correct so maybe they were recorded at that time. Who knows where or when. But they are a fabulous fit with Babylon Berlin, that's for sure.

W2 is loving the series, it is just so atmospheric. Definitely up there with 'Deutschland '83' and 'Breaking Bad'.

Salutations,

W2

I read on a Bryan Ferry tweet that they are new recordings by the BFO.

Mes Amis,
Tres interresant, Windswept dreams of another album from these guys.
Hopefully TBFO are in full rehearsal mode for next years tour - that would be a treat !
W2 also noticed that banjo player in the Babylon Berlin screen grab looks seriously like TBFO's Martin Wheatley.
Salutations,
Windswept

And absolutely no truth to any rumors of Bryan being backed by The Portsmouth Sinfonia.
