Hipsters, Toyota & Fripp are clearly looking increasingly bizarre as the years roll by. They are ageing disgracefully. That said, it was good to hear the other side of the Crimson story from the man himself and he is, of course, correct with his appreciation of ‘Avalon’. Salutations, W2

Oh, Windswept, that's a little curmudgeonly of you. I am a huge Fripp and King Crimson fan. In fact, I initially got into Roxy through its connections to the KC, (Pete Sinfield, John Wetton, Mel Collins, Fripp and Eno). I have really enjoyed Robert and Toyah's Sunday Lunch videos. I applaud their obvious affection and desire for each other. As we all age, it's nice to know that the spark of passion can linger, and that I, myself, may still have something to look forward to. I applaud the fact that they don't take themselves too seriously and are willing to be silly. Fripp has shown a side that those of us who were accustomed to the surly professorial image never could have imagined. I don't find them disgraceful, I find them full of life, unembarrassed, mischievous and mirthful.

I think Windswept's "ageing disgracefully" is meant as compliment.

Well said about Toyah and Robert EERO. Totally amazed by Mr Fripp on Youtube! Let's not forget his Music for Quiet Moments videos either. IMHO they have both shown true leadership during COVID-19, as did Brian May when it started. I've always liked Toyah. Fripp is a class above - a true guitar innovator, but not afraid to make mistakes on Youtube. The only time I saw this kind of musical honesty before was with Gordon Giltrap. We went to one of his gigs at very short notice. he found out and decided to play a piece of music that he had composed for my partner without practising. Yes there were a few mistakes, but it was a magic moment for her!

Anybody with a scintilla of grey matter would know it is a compliment but to those with a sense of humour bypass, he apologises. Indeed, it’s de rigour in some circles to be angry and find fault with everything in these modern times. Happily, W2 lui-meme doesn’t frequent those particular circles. Salutations a tous, Windswept.

Anyone with a sense of humour and half an ounce of jelly beans must love Toyah and Robert, she is still gorgeous and he knows he's blessed with talent. Think Joyce Grenfell and Robert Morley were their parents...
