I noticed that too. The cover photo image is an Egyptian sculpture in the Egyptian Wing of the Metropolitian Museum in NYC. When I worked on the upper east side I used to spend a lot of my lunch hours visiting what I considered my friends there. This was one of them. The Bodmer Oak by Monet was another. I flipped out when Bryan used this image. I took a picture of it with The Right Stuff single cassette in the foreground. It’s buried somewhere in my files. I do love some of the dance remixes of this one.
I think the official Bryan Ferry Facebook and Twitter media are in the hands of the Ferry camp. Next release , posted today , is the Kiss and Tell remixes.
Good to see these singles & in particular their b-sides receiving a digital release. I Put A Spell on You is the latest and they appear to have included a sneaky bonus instrumental version of the title track track, which hasn’t been released previously AFAIK. Hopefully these will continue as there are far too many gems amongst BF’s non-album tracks to be merely forgotten about.
