I've read that Roxy had romanesque arches and jungle foliage as a stage set for some of the UK gigs on the '73 Stranded tour. Does anyone have pics of the band performing in this setting?

Wow! I've got that book [hardback annual 'Pop Today'] great chapter on Eno if I remember correctly?

It is not from a hardback book Stabbs, it is from the "Story of Pop" magazine as in the last picture. Maybe they used the same pictures as the book you mentioned.

Thanks Roxy and Stabbs. I have this book Roxy and appreciate you posting it.

I love the pic of Roxy standing beside the Studebaker in the book. That poster is in my study. It typifies that period when they were press darlings and ruled the UK pop/rock universe.

The ruins/foliage stage set has been much talked about in live reviews but no visual image was captured, unlike the later "Nuremberg '74" and "Wembley '75" sets.

And Ferry...Roxy's style was sublime and light years ahead of the competition; truly a heady meld of futurism and past glamour, mixing fashion from various decades and even centuries. Little wonder the New Romantics plundered their look some ten years down the track.
