In the 1970s I was a member of PIPS DISCO,fennel street,manchester(still got the membership card :lol:

)part of it had a ROXY ROOM,Set out like a cave.Plenty of people would dress and move on the dance floor like BRYAN FERRY/BOWIE.Has anyone come across any footage anywhere on the net,as it would be great to see it all again. Ps. Just seen ROXY MUSIC in PERTH(Im now living in Western Australia)They were great,Bryans voice sounded over 20 years younger.OLYMPIA is the best he has recorded since MANIFESTO. I would still like to hear a new ROXY album, but I dont know if it would be wise to make one.

Pips was a few years before my time, but my older sister was a regular.

I've never seen any video, but there are plenty of photos and memorabilia to be found here:

Pips is now a branch of Nicky Clarke Hairdressers, which is quite appropriate really.
