Competition Winners - - Andy Mackay Recording

The winners to the Musikladen DVD competition can be found here. Thanks to all those who took part and congratulations to the 3 winners of the Musikladen DVD courtesy of Weinerworld who give the DVD its first UK release on 30th July 2007.

Andy Mackay is currently recording some solo material. Involved in the sessions are Roxy Music Drummer Paul Thompson, Chris Spedding on guitar and percussionist Julia Thornton. Hazel Mills takes the piano duties as well as providing some vocal loops and Tim Allen also plays guitar on the album.
The project, tentatively entitled 'London, Paris, New York, Rome' contains versions of a couple of jazz standards, a new version of Roxy classic, "Love is the Drug", and an intoxicating take on "Waterloo Sunset".
