Mornin all....

Watched it from under my duvet on the ipad so not the biggest of screens but enjoyed it in sheer comfort....gutted More Than This was cut short, and why oh why is Bryan so far back on that keyboard?

to coin a corny phrase...

"Nobody puts baby in the corner" haha

I recorded the audio but unfortunately during Both Ends Burning the proxy server failed for almost a minute, so I had to cut that one out. Other than that the recording is ok, not the best quality available but still very good, especially compared to those cell phone uploads on youtube.

If anybody's interested, PM me, I've uploaded it on my dropbox account and I'll send you the link.

I hope the concert will soon be available on youtube in full length and HD quality.

 Yes Helen, that was the same thought I had! I love him playing the keyboard more, but he is the main act and not a backing vocalist. I know, it's all about the music (and that's great!), but he could be more at the front, near the audience.
Maybe the visual "tableau" is more in balance this way! ;)
Or he can lead his orchestra better this way!

At the last tour he was more up front concentrating on the singing and get in contact with the audience, but during the Olympia tour he was also more at the back. It's a choice he's made and that's fine with me! Like I saíd the music is great!

:)

Cher Sanvia,
You are a Ferryista after my own heart.
You have understood!

He's sort of ended up back where he started with Roxy when Eno was left of stage and Ferry right, though not as far back as now. This positioning started on the 2011 Roxy tour did it not?

Cher monsieur Windswept2,
Merci bien pour le compliment!
I wonder how the "arrangement" will be with the "grand" orchestra's in Leipzig and Dublin. A "tableau vivant" perhaps? ;)
Bien a vous,
Sanviva :)

These coachella YouTube videos are of good sound quality...and STTY sounds really good. There is enough clarity now to hear the track properly. Loving the bass, vocal, wind, drums.

Haha..I totally agree with you sanviva, and there's not much wrong in us wanting BF nearer the audience :D

I know its no big deal and I don't want to make one either, as stated by wrighta he has taken this position on past tours, but what struck me this time was when I watching the first clips posted by a fan in the audience in Vancouver, I couldn't make out where Bryan was positioned at first, I soon realised that he was behind Steve Jones who was blocking the view for this fan who was filming on their device.

I'm quietly observing...... ;)
