Having a browse through You Tube I found a clip of Roxy doing Over you on TOTP 1980, Bryan is playing a guitar ( I say that tongue in cheek as most of these things were mimed). Not having attended the Flesh & Blood tour can anyone tell me if he played live on tour. I've only ever seen him on keyboards Oh by the way really, really DON'T like all the boys in white boots in the clip, (very Essex boys).

I think that BF is credited as playing guitar on the song (not the whole album) Flesh and Blood.
I also recall that BF onetime stated that he wrote the song Pyjamarama on guitar (as opposed to his usual reliance on the piano/keyboard) - this makes sense to me because Pyjamarama does have a different sound compared to the vast multitude of other songs he has written.
Whenever BF is shown "playing" the guitar it never looks right. You know he is not really a guitar player. This is a malady that also afflicts Mick Jagger and Bono. IMNSHO they never look right when they strap on the ol' six-string razor... For Bowie it is different. He looks like he can actually play the guitar...
With BF, I'm reminded of Elvis (P not C) who, after a couple of his early movies, wears a guitar but doesn't really play it. Very much like the look that BF has on his FYP photo. Guitar as ornament and fashion statement. And it is a great pix.

That's the sort of talk I'd expect to hear from a teenage heavy metal fan; the kind of person who thinks Yngwie Malmsteen is a good idea. "Over You" has a simple, yet effective, D-G-A circular chord progression. It's a great pop tune.

When Roxy got back together, in August '78, BF was playing bass for the initial sessions. I remember a Radio 1 interview when BF was asked who the musicians involved were in the re-formed Roxy, he said "...and I'm playing bass, to everyone's horror"
