Thanks John, as efficient as ever. Running Wild a surprise and probably a good end to a great show.
Regards, Mark

That's impressively quick, John; I was at the gig, but had no computer access until now (concert ended 3 hours ago)! All four "principals" were on good form, with BF in good voice. For the instrument "trainspotters" out there, Andy played his full array of kit, i.e. alto, tenor & soprano saxes plus oboe. Tried in vain to catch the names of the three backing singers, but Alicia Gordon was the only I could make out (time may prove that I even got that one wrong...). Anna Phoebe was a pleasant surprise: great violin solo to end Out Of The Blue and very easy on the eye too! ) Running Wild was a nice closer too; BF would probably term it an encore, although the band hadn't got around to leaving the stage; 90 mins altogether and the happy crowd was still calling for more... Ticket price was 55 euros and they still seemed to be on sale before the gig. Good value compared with 7 euros for a beer! If anyone's still hedging their bets about whether to catch the group on this tour, I'd say book now with confidence.

Just noticed the absence of the bassist's name; he was a new face to me. Announcement sounded like Gerry Meehan, but maybe John can confirm?

Interesting to see a "Strictly Roxy" set list I wonder if there will be any dropout/in tracks over the festival season, time will tell. Jerry Meehan sounds cool, thanks to simong for the info.

Nice to see Running Wild included, but it's a bit of a lazy set. They seem to have stuck with songs that they feel comfortable playing. I know the old favourites have to be included to keep the neutrals happy, but I wish they would drop Song For Europe, Heart Stiill Beating, Tara, My Only Love, Out of the Blue, and replace them with something like Chance Meeting or Beauty Queen or Amazona or Prairie Rose or even Still Falls the Rain, Just give us a few suprises !
