I'm splashing out and have bought tickets for Washington x2 nights, New York and Boston. I've never seen Ferry in the US before and had originally only planned to go to New York. However, when I realised how close Washington and Boston were I decided to book those too.

Anyone else going??

Don't mind going on my own. It's how I normally travel. LOL

Just wondered if anyone would be around.

Looks like I'll have Ferry to myself! LOL. I wish! ha ha

YOU GO GURL!

Like I said, there's nobody home. Not sure who's from where here. Alot are from the UK, Don't know any Canucks here. Maybe there should be a poll on who's from where - which might have been done before.

Enjoy the shows! I have a surprise for Bryan when I'll see him on his birthday! I'll be in the front row as you know, so I'm keeping it hush hush y'know.

Cher Tracy,
I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Three great cities - I don't know the venues in Boston and DC but NYC's Beacon is fabulous. Any venue created by a man called Samuel L "Roxy" Rothafel has to be tailor made for our hero — it has a beautiful art deco interior that has been recently restored and the acoustics are great.
It's also worth taking the Amtrak between the cities. It's really quick and you avoid all the airport hassle.
I'm reserving judgement as to wether to take in NYC until after Dublin. I have to confess to reservations about the current line-up but let's hope it develops well.
Regards,
Windswept.

Well done on those front row tickets Erland! :) I'm sure Bryan will love your surprise whatever it is :)

I'm from the UK. Have never seen Bryan in the US before and never been to Washington DC, New York or Boston. Really looking forward to it - or will be once I've booked my flights. I originally only planned to do New York, but when I saw how close Boston and DC were I couldn't resist. I do plan to travel by Amtrak between cities :) That will also be a new experience :)

Windswept2 - I'll be at Dublin too. I had a great time there last year at the same venue. I was on my own then. Tara took a pic for me with Bryan and Bryan signed some stuff for me. He was so sweet. Doubt I'll be the only one this time.

I also enjoyed Dublin itself. Must have been 35 degrees Celsius then - needless to say I had to have a few ciders to cool down. Love those Dublin bars and restaurants :) Can't wait to go back.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing the new line up. Will be interesting. I do find that Bryan usually makes the right choices. Never let me down yet. We'll see.

thanks Tracy! Happy for you too! Oh indeed, Bryan will surprised as my seats are in line where he sits at his keyboard.

Sound like you're to have an awesome experience!

I'm even thinking about going to Spain. Never been there.

Have fun!

Tracy, I'll be at the Boston show. The Orpheum is is an old burlesque theater. It's an intimate venue, a little threadbare. I was last there to see Ferry in 2002.

The Theater is just across from the Boston Common, near Beacon Hill and Downtown and a block from the major subway stop in town, Park Street. Easy access to Cambridge and out to Back Bay and Fenway. Boston is small, easily walkable and the most European of American Cities.

There are plenty of good choices for hotels and restaurants. PM me if you would like some travel tips. I lived in New York for many years and my son is currently in college just a short distance form the Beacon.

I know DC pretty well also.
