Quote: Makes me rather pleased it didn't really see the light of day in old Blighty. It did in Scotland! It is an official video, perhaps not aimed at the UK audience but I remember seeing this on TV many times in the early 1980's, long before the days of the internet and Youtube. It was from a French TV show. I have got it on video somewhere. The girl brushing her teeth was the presenter getting ready to interview Bryan . Bryan recorded basic videos for The Main Thing,The Space Between,Take A Chance, Avalon and More Than This, I think. I can't remember exactly. The video for The Main Thing generated a lot of interest ,for obvious reasons and ended up being shown everywhere. So, official, but only for a TV show and not not really big budget.

I don't think I would class the Avalon video as basic.

Apologies Ian, I was talking about the official Avalon video but reading your post again I see you meant there were other videos filmed for the French TV show that were basic. I wonder what happens with this sort of thing then, does EMI buy the rights from the TV company so it then belongs to them?

If this counts as entertainment in Scotland then I'm converting to a supporter of the 'Yes' campaign.

Oh what a sheltered wee life you must have had down in that there Englandshire I am surprised that you never saw this seeing there was only 3 channels in those days!
