Good day and hello to you all. After sometime browsing through the comments, I thought it would be time to join you all. I am perhaps one of the younger followers on here being thirty five, although I have been following Bryan and the boys since 1990 and I heard him while holidaying in Turkey. "Who's that on the radio Dad?" "That's Bryan Ferry Clint". Needless to say when I got back to England I purchased every album I could find! The rest is history, although at that time having to wait three years for a new album seemed a lifetime. Now I'm older like everybody else I have become use to the distance between each album! So once again it's a pleasure to be here and I look forward to it all.

Welcome, Clint! I'm sure you'll find the forum interesting and infomative - and there a lot of entertaining characters on here, that's for sure! A lot of long time fans (the first record I ever bought was Viginia Plain) who offer a lot of knowledge and interesting opinions, some newer ones, so an interesting mix. Again, welcome and enjoy the site.

Thank you Bill, 'Virginia Plain' I think is always the best way to start and I would always start here if I were introduce the band to others. My first introduction however was 'The Ultimate Collection' in 1990. By no means the best compilation, but it did serve as a start to the Ferry and Roxy cannon. So you can imagine how amazing it was hearing all fifteen albums up to that point!

Hi Clint,
welcome to the club! I envy you for having a dad who recognizes Bryan Ferry's music on the radio. When I discovered Roxy Music for myself my parents thought I had gone completely insane.
Regards from Hamburg,

Bienvenue Clint! I'm a long-time fan & probably Bryan's BIGGEST fan since he inspired me to make music. Like Bill said, there's lots interesting characters here. Alot are shy to say hi, so with that, I tip my hat, enjoy the crowd, they're not too loud! LOL!

Thank You Gentlemen. Yes it was a fortunate thing at the time, me being only eleven and Dad thirty two. After that he certainly pointed me in the right direction, and I thank him for many others. I'm please to say Ennio Morricone was one of them. Yes I've noticed there are quite a few interesting characters on here

LP: Welcome aboard!
There are many fine people on this forum, but be ever watchful if you are offered a mug of Kool-Aid. You may find yourself waking up with a groggy head and thinking that Roxy Music was just BF supported by a bunch of studio musicians...
Whoops, I did it again...
