I can confirm that the image shown on Amazon to accompany the Avonmore album is not the final artwork,

Mes Amis,
Thank God for that.
Windswept did think it might be a place holder but had it been the finished article he would have needed a couple of cases of DJC's Kool Aid to defend it.
On a separate note, Windswept would sincerely advise all you aesthetics out there to take a look at the artwork for the Bard Of The Bedsits' new album, 'Popular Problems'. It really is quite beautiful and the way he has animated the song lyrics with graphics will certainly capture the eye of the discerning dilettante.
That said our hero has a great track record in this department and Windswept will come up with something very cool.
a bien tôt,
Windswept

Great photograph! :) Looks like the image on temporary artwork is the bottom left section of this photograph. Perhaps the wider shot might be a possible cover or will be from photos from the same shoot. It looks like a damp old basement has been the setting. :)

Cher Roxy,
This looks more hopeful albeit our hero is looking a little Cavesque in his pose!

Thanks for confirming that John. However unlikely it seemed at first, I was beginning to think this was the finished article, given its proliferation even to official BF sites. Something else to look forward to then. It would be great to see a contemporary BF image grace an album - it's been a very long time indeed since that happened.
Good times.
