Compared to Olympia, Avonmore has certainly had more critical success and its "chart performance" in the UK and Europe has seemed to be OK.

So how does this translate into actual sales and paid downloads? Yes, this is the crass question: "How Much Money Has It Made for BF?" I'm just wondering because this is the BIG ISSUE that confronts musical artists in the digital/download/streaming era. My sense is that Olympia (with the high promotion costs associated with the Kate Moss cover shoot and the U Can Dance video) never turned much (if any) profit. So I wonder if Avonmore is proving to be a more remunerative venture for BF?

Just wondering...

If more 'singles' are released and get on the Radio 2 playlist then maybe Avonmore will shift s few more copies. I reckon 'Soldier of Fortune' for example will possibly appeal to a wider audience than Bryan's, (albeit dwindling), fanbase.

Also, he hinted that several tracks from the new album will be performed on the upcoming tour, (was there only 2 from Olympia on that tour?). So the tour may add a few more sales - though probably nothing significant.

The May tour of Britain will certainly spur some additional sales of Avonmore simply because he will be getting (presumably) good PR in local media as he appears in venues across the cultural landscape.

Unfortunately, I doubt that any of the new songs will prove particularly memorable in concert given BF's less-than-strong vocal delivery (that was certainly the case in Oct when I saw him perform Loop De Li). So the likelihood that the Brit tour will spark a MAJOR resurgence in Avonmore sales seems slight. But the tour will give the album at least a modest boost...

Still in top 100 at no. 78 in latest update:
http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/al ... rt-update/

On how much 'Avonmore' has sold, I think most artists are struggling with sales- for example Madness entered at 20 with their new album in last weekend's chart and 'Sleeping with Sirens' is already down to 81 in the update!(Anyone else heard their song '2BF' from many moons ago). So much is downloaded illegally. I am a member of 'Spotify' so it is good to see streaming is now being taken into account on the charts.
It looks like touring will remain the big earner for most artists including Bryan.

Think there is a bit of crossed wires here - the album you're referring to is by an American group called Sleeping with Sirens and their album is called 'Madness'.

The British group Madness haven't had an album out since 2012 - with the greatly titled 'Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da'!
