There is a limit to what he could achieve as Bryan's voice seems to have changed somewhat post-tonsilectomy, but it could be interesting.
So Bryan had a tonsilectomy between the first album and FYP? That would explain his voice's richer tone after the first album.

Hipsters, This is interesting. W2 always wondered what provoked the change but had always attributed it to his love affair with Virginia's favourite crop! Salutations, Windswept

Cher Roxy, Next to you, W2 is a mere novice Roxologist. What a great article and Windswept must have a pair of those jim jams - I wonder if they were the inspiration for 'Pyjamarama'? Maybe they could be a line for the merchandising store! Salutations, Windswept

I may be way off here, WS2, but I seem to remember hearing, way back when, that Pyjamarama was the first song he composed using a guitar - or at least started working on using a guitar and that was when he was recovering from this surgery. Would make sense, considering the kind of simplicity of the opening guitar twangs of Pyjamarama.

We must have Pyjamarama jim jams as part of the 'FYP' DeLuxe Edition. W2 is having Derek Rose make him a pair for Christmas - what more could any Roxologist wish for? Salutations, Windswept.

She also made him the Bell Boy Outift as worn on the For Your Pleasure tour and inside the album cover. http://1granary.com/interviews/wendy-dagworthy/ Cher Roxy, You are absolutely brilliant. For years Windswept has laboured under the illusion that he knew something about this Roxology business only for him to discover that he is not fit to walk in your shadow. Is there anything you don't know about this subject? Fabulous - W2 bows before you and maybe he will give Wendy a bell and see if she can stitch a pair up for Christmas. Salutations, W2

Very very good interview reposted here. Rather camp.
Back to OP question:
If there's anything new / unheard in the archive, bring it out. Pure gold.
For me, any previously broadcast sessions aren't of interest , just cos I have them all already.
Better production? Well, I liked the original wooden, scratchy sound. But, I'd trust bryan, if he thinks it's worthwhile.
Having said that, some remixes I've heard over the past few years of earlier material (this island earth from Somerset ) have been fantastic. So, if there's potential for a well thought through retake...well, I'd be up for it.

Steven Wilson update. His work on RM1 was overseen by Phil and finished in 2012. SW would like to work on deluxe versions of subsequent Roxy albums "and Phil is keen". And the reissue of RM1 is going to be "a pretty comprehensive set". Hooray!!! http://stevenwilsonhq.com/sw/an-update- ... emix-work/
