Personally, I'm not really a fan of the Roxy/Ferry B-sides & only find a few even listenable.

I seem to recall that 'As the World Turns, a Ferry/Jobson composition was originally worked on on the 'Siren' sessions, but was discarded until 'IYM'. It features a guitar solo by one Robert Fripp which I'm not a fan of, (the solo, not the guitarist!) - seems too fast and not to fit the song - but hey what do I know?

My favourite B-side would have to be 'She's Leaving Home', flip side of 'Tokyo Joe'. It was even sort of a hit in the UK in it's own right. When the single was falling down the chart - 15 to 24, I think, 'SLH' started getting radio play and consequently 'TJ' went back up to #20 the following week.

A couple of others B-sides I like are, 'To Turn you On, & 'Windswept', (instrumental version), B-side of 'Is Your love Strong Enough').

I have always liked As the World Turns, a lost gem.
I also like the first 4 b-sides of the Roxy singles, The Numberer, The Pride And The Pain, Hula-Kula and You're Application's Failed.
They all showed a very different side to the Roxy we knew.
She's Leaving Home was part of a bigger project where many different artistes performed their version of Beatles songs. I think the album was called "All This And World War 2". I bought it at the time.
I remember reading at the time that the Bee Gees thought their version of SLH was better and should have been chosen for the album, although they already had 2 other songs on it.

Atwt has a great guitar contribution from Robert Fripp. Also, Ferry's vocal was notable for the complete absence of camp possibly for the first time.

Lover and She's Leaving Home were far too good to be "B" sides. She's Leaving Home is his best Beatles cover.

She's leaving home is great isn't it? Bryan's version was once cited by Kate Bush as one of her favourites.

Quite funny to think of Ferry/Roxy as camp. Ferry and Bowie were just different than anything before or after. The singing on the first album and visual performances of the first two albums with Eno on board, I can see what your saying, but after that NO.
