Hello, Curio .....A collection of Ferry/Roxy songs by The Midnite String Quartet Eight songs ... which is your favourite? Hope your fancies are well and truly tickled, enjoy
Mes Amis, The Pale Moon has risen and brought us something interesting. It's nice to hear these tracks translated into traditional quartet chamber music. That said, IWNSHO they don't all work. The best two are 'Casanova' and 'When She Walks In The Room'. Albeit the latter is not a patch on the Brass Band arrangement that our hero did for the late Issie Blow's memorial service. To the quartet's credit their playing is impeccable - it's the arrangements that are a bit thin. Hopefully this will inspire our hero to get his BFWS album together ! Salutations, W2
