Very interesting to hear the 2HB demo. Any musician who has ever recorded a band in a crowded room with one mic will quickly recognize the basic "Sound" of this. The portent of the future is def in the instrumental break - where Andy and Eno work some magic - and also in the way the final verse comes back in with no little authority.

The timeline is worth checking out. A highlight methinks is November '71 which features the advert for "Wonder Drummer." Just as fascinating are the other adverts on the page. At bottom is Roy Wood seeking "Male Cellists" for the nascent Electric Light Orchestra!!!

Perhaps I missed it elsewhere, but I enjoyed how the Time Line illustration showed the larger page with other ads from that long ago time...

Good work all round and a great taster for the SDE which will separate the haves from the have-nots from this Friday.

Yes, one of my scans also and coincidentally further up on the same page is a concert advert for the band Lindisfarne who Paul is now a member of. I will try and post it here when next at my main pc.
