J.O'B. Sad to see such rancour after what was clearly an impassioned, but obviously well meant, opening post.
I'm sure we all wish we had a direct line to the Andy (which I do, but refuse to ever use lest I be thought a stalker!) some of us have to go through his PA and these forums.
Personally, I thank STUDEBAKER for stirring us up!

rancour noun bitterness or resentfulness, especially when long standing. synonyms: bitterness, spite, hate, hatred, resentment, malice, ill will, malevolence, malignancy, animosity, antipathy, enmity, hostility, acrimony, venom, poison
Overstating it a bit, I think.

Overstating it a bit, I think. Possibly.

Can't see any ill will, acrimony or animosity either - just a mannered observation that the particular term used was, to some, inappropriate. Still, to quote a term more appropriate to journalism, let's not let the facts get in the way of a good story, eh?

If people want to offer their best wishes, fine; if not, that’s ok too. It’s a personal choice and to be honest, far too much is being made of this on here.

This is an issue that belongs from where it was taken, the not often visited Andy department. RM lies low in the media for the time being, then any news about Andy would do so too.
