Breaking ranks here but I think a new Roxy album would be an error.

But it's not the same Mr Ferry, not at all. BF is now a Roxy tribute act then?

Those in the solo band may have become the "new Roxy" to Bryan but unlike the genuine article the current band members' contributions are limited to adding their musicianship to live performances of an entirely static body of work. They are just hired hands - albeit skilled ones. Nothing new being created here.
