Lot's of negative criticism indeed (as often...!). I know myself well enough to know that I will need to listen several times to the album before being able to make up my mind. Surprises me how quickly you all judge after just a few mini-samples!

I think i'll wait for the entire album to listen to and then make my mind up. but listen , guys, we're all getting older and a bit more grumpy. Its never going to 1973 again, or 1987, or 1994. I'm amazed at how Ferry has re-invented/kept himself as a brand. Good on him. I don't think he'll hit the high spots again, as a musician or composer, but there's a whole body of work to listen to and that will do me.

"It's never gong to 1973 again, or 1987, or 1994..." Couldn't say it better! This little sentence expresses perfectly the frustrations of some members here.. Well said!!!

I don`t care for neither 1973, 1987, or 1994. -And mark my words, I don`t even care for 1973! Whoever listens to "Stranded" anymore?
What counts is 1980, 1981, and 1982.

Certainly NOT 1980 or 1981! (or 1985 or 1987 for that matter).
