Agree with your astute comments 100% Smudge. The more I think about it was this just a Sky Arts time filler? No date given at the end of the transmission either. I find it hard to believe that this output would have been approved by BF/RM - perhaps their legal people might be onto it?

Sadly, the "New Media" of the 21st Century is filled with derivative "junk documentaries" like this one that simply regurgitate old stuff with "producers" who know little about the subject at hand and are simply filling time for some infotainment "channel." Production budgets are minimal which means that there is both no original research and heavy reliance upon cheaply licensed and easily available video clips.

So what's the point?

Well, for devotees of VRM there is no point, but for the interests that control Roxy and BF these type of shows can only help introduce the Roxy/BF catalog to a prospective audience of younger viewers who are largely unaware of Roxy/BF except as some band their grandparents listened to waaaayyy back in the 20th century. Sad? Yes. But true nonetheless...
