I believe he was a member of a cycling club called (I think) Le Clarion. He was also captain of his school's basketball team and a goalkeeper for the football team (of which Howard Kendall was also a player, apparently), so seemed to be pretty athletic in his youth.

If I recall, back during the Frantic tour BF was on Holiday in Spain and fell off a bike. This caused great consternation as he rushed back to London so his back doctor could help make sure he suffered no long term damage. I suspect that BF is not in the mood to do much bike-riding, unless the new Mrs. F coaxes him into it. And even then he might defer the invitation...

Now I'm beginning to wonder: What does the new Mrs. F like to do??? In terms of publicity, she seems to keep a very low profile. A few paparrazi shots with BF here and there, but other than that she pretty much has no public presence. Or at least none that I'm aware of...

I was just thinking that he suffers from a bad back so no bike ridding for him. In fact it's well known he doesn't take much exercise as he has admitted he hates the Gym etc... I could make a joke where he gets his exercise these days but I'd probably get banned off the site - :lol:

Think a partner/wife with no profile suits him :!:
