How about a Complete Live Recordings CD?. One from each album's tour,so we should have 8 Cds full of live stuff. And a DVD from each tour,perhaps?

I think all the great ideas & requests made here are
falling on deaf ears.

I emailed Bryan's website, no answer, as well
as his SoundCloud page, no answer.

That tell you anything?

I don't think that the idea's are falling on deaf ears as such, more that a lot of time, effort and cost is being put into the deluxe version of the first (and hopefully the rest of them) Roxy album. It would be nice to see/hear the dvd/cd from last years tour as I think they've missed the boat again in terms of interest on that score. Don't forget that we also have input into mr. Ferry's organisation courtesy of our webmaster.

I would think they would want The Complete Recordings to be released first in April with the maximum promotional push and so bide their time before announcing details of the deluxe edition of the first album and, hopefully, subsequently the others (including Viva).

...deaf ears meaning Bryan and the boys.

They should get involved a bit here, and not
have John do all the work for them compiling
all what's put out here, unless of course he's
getting paid.

Hope you are John if you do do do ah da da da.

The ears may be deaf, but the eyes are not blind!

If you look at the set list from from last year's Roxy gigs you will see that a lot of the obscure and unheard album tracks were played, and I believe that was because a few of us put together our very own fantasy set lists of what we would love to hear from the band and posted them on the forums, never in a million years did I expect the set list that we actually got, it was what the diehards asked for and what we got.
That told me that someone somewhere had tuned in and took note of our wishes, I really do believe that, so I wouldn't despair too much, just because we don't get direct replies from the Roxy camp doesn't necessarily mean that no one is taking notice of us.

Pour yourself a pale ale and chill! haha

Absolutely ! I agree with H. We even had an angry post from Tara on here which goes to show that Bryan's people are reading our comments.

Feeling grouchy this morning, so I'll get this off my chest:

(1) it's getting monotonous at almost every log on to find messages bemoaning the lack of a personal response from the great man himself (it ain't gonna happen!);

(2) his team do look in here and J.O'B also kindly summarises the majority views when in contact with The Studio;

(3) because of point (2), the carping and moaning about the next studio set might prove counter-productive - if you don't want it, don't buy it, but don't knock the man for keeping the group's name out there or dissuade him from continuing to plan what ought to prove to be a wonderful series of 40th anniversary boxes between this summer and 2022!

There; I feel a bit better now! Time for my medicine, nurse...
